I have always been passionate but tech andhave spent the entirety of my professional career in Information Sciences and Technology. I was able to hone my craft for over a decade having worked for and being taught by some of the best local tech professionals in the industry.  

Then when COVID happened, it not only changed the industry… It changed me. 

It shifted my view of technology mostly being a luxury – to it being a lifeline. I watched as clients went less from wanting repairs to play Flappy Birds and post on social media, to seeing more of our elderly and disabled population need access to tech for doctors appts, to file insurance claims and register for services.

These interactions is where the idea of Rixes Fixes was born. A place where our seniors can come to make sure they stay connected, where all of our residents can get their tech needs met and their hardware repaired, a place where families can come and learn what video games are hot, and what’s safe and appropriate for their children to play, and more. 

Rixes Fixes is finally here and as part of this community, I look forward to serving you all and can’t wait to meet you.
